LennyLight Baby Carrier Guide: Sizing, Fit & How to Use
The LennyLight is LennyLamb's lightest, simplest full buckle carrier. It is made from woven wrap fabric, fits from newborn to toddler with no insert, and has just enough adjustment to get a good fit without a lot of fiddling. Who the LennyLight Is For
The LennyLight is a good fit if you want:
- One carrier from newborn to toddler. The panel adjusts in width and height as your baby grows, so you won't need an infant insert or a second carrier for the first three years.
- Something quick and simple. It has fewer straps and buckles than most full buckle carriers, which makes it easy to learn and easy to hand off to a partner or grandparent.
- A lightweight, packable carrier. It rolls up small and comes with a mesh sack attached, so it travels well.
- Woven wrap fabric in a buckle carrier. Like all LennyLamb carriers, it is sewn from the same jacquard and twill fabrics as their woven wraps, in dozens of designs and blends.
If you want more ways to customize the fit, such as lumbar support, a removable hood, or more adjustment points, look at the LennyUpgrade PRO instead.
Key Features
Magnetic chest belt
Every LennyLight comes with a free chest belt that has a magnetic buckle. It slides along the whole length of the shoulder straps, and the two halves snap together on their own once you bring them close. You can also take it off completely.
Waist belt pocket
A pocket with a magnetic closure sits on the waist belt. It fits a phone, keys, and other small essentials.
Mesh storage sack
A light mesh sack is attached to the carrier so you can pack it away neatly when you're not using it.
Circoola® NFC tag
Each LennyLight has a built-in NFC tag. Hold an NFC-enabled phone near it to pull up tutorials plus your carrier's color, size, model, fabric blend and weight, production date, and serial number.
Soft, simple adjustments
The shoulder straps and hip belt are soft and quick to adjust, so you can get your baby into a healthy ergonomic position at every stage.
Sizing and Fit
The LennyLight comes in a single size that adjusts to fit both parent and baby:
- For the wearer: the waist belt fits 60–144 cm (about 23.5–56.5 in) and the shoulder straps adjust from 45–111 cm (about 17.5–43.5 in), so it works for a wide range of body types and can be shared between caregivers.
- For your baby: it fits from 3.2 kg (about 7 lbs) and EU clothing size 56 up to size 104, or about 36 months.
Whatever your baby's age, check for the M-position: knees higher than bottom, fabric supporting them from knee to knee, and a gently rounded back. For newborns, narrow and shorten the panel so it reaches the backs of the knees and supports the neck.
How to Use the LennyLight

Before every carry, run through the T.I.C.K.S. checklist: Tight, In view at all times, Close enough to kiss, Keep chin off the chest, and Supported back.

Caring for Your LennyLight
- Machine wash at 30–40°C (86–104°F) on a gentle cycle with all buckles fastened.
- Skip the fabric softener.
- Hang to dry when you can, to protect the fabric and hardware.
- Always check the care label first. Blends with wool, silk, or cashmere need a cooler wash and should never go in the dryer.
