The DIDYMOS DidyHip is a dedicated hip carrier made from organic woven wrap fabric. It goes on like a crossbody bag, seats your child on your hip in the ergonomic spread-squat position, and comes off just as fast — perfect for the up-and-down toddler stage, quick errands, and anytime you need hands-free hip carrying.
Why Choose the DidyHip?
- Fastest on and off. Slip it over one shoulder, seat your child, adjust, and go — quicker than any other carrier type.
- Built for hip carry. Unlike a ring sling or wrap where hip is one option, the DidyHip is designed from the ground up for hip carrying.
- Adjustable pouch. Drawstrings customize the seat width for your child’s size, maintaining the ergonomic spread-squat position.
- Compact and lightweight. Folds small enough to toss in a diaper bag as a backup carrier.
- Organic woven wrap fabric. Made from the same organic DIDYMOS fabric as their wraps — soft, breathable, and supportive.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age can I start using the DidyHip?
From approximately 5 months (5 kg minimum). Your child should have some head and trunk control. For younger babies, a woven wrap or ring sling in hip carry position works better.
Is the DidyHip comfortable for long carries?
Best for short to medium carries (up to about 30–45 minutes). Because all weight sits on one shoulder, longer carries may cause fatigue. For extended carrying, a two-shoulder carrier distributes weight more evenly.
How do I wash the DidyHip?
Machine wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Hang to dry. Skip the fabric softener.
